Since we are staying in Pantai Tengah, we want to try the opposite route than where we ee coming to Kuah. We stop for a shop while at Telaga Air Hangat, actually for toilet break. The area is still being renovated. Since it was raining, we did not put our feet into the warm water, but some people dis using pails to take the wster and put their feets into the pail.

Day 2 at Langkawi
Initially, we plan to go for island hopping (RM30/ADULT) but rain was showering from the morning till next morning. Then, we decided to go to Kuah and do some shopping. We went to a few of duty free shops. Billion, langkawi mall, and finally the jetty where we had our lunch at a mamak there. At the jetty also, we did purchase some souvenir which is much cheaper than at tourist attraction spots. Since it was raining, danish only managed to get his picture taken with the big 'helang' from afar.
Chocolate
Langkawi is the home of imported chocolate because they are duty-free here. However, we need to shop around to get the best price. The best place to go are duty free shop around Kuah such as coco valley, Haji Ismail, etc. For example, 100g Ritter sport could vary between RM3.50-5.50. Sometime, the shop will offer huge discount, but please check the expiry date if you do not intend to concume the chocolate immediately.

Sunset at pantai tengah, Langkawi
Danish was playing with sea shell he colected along the beach of Pantai Tengah, behind Tnb Bungalow where we are staying for 2 nights. The beach is nice. We did waited for sunset at mat cincang cable car, but we were there quite early. We went down the mountain at 6.15 pm, and the sun still high on the sky. By the way, souvenir at mat cincang is cheaper than at pantai tengah and pantai chenang area.

PMI- Spark emission spectrography
Spectrography is based on optical emission. The equipment consists of a probe which releases a spark that is used to vaporise the material being analysed. The atoms and ions in this vapour produce a spectrum which can be optically measured and then recalculated to determine the components of the material.
Material properties like structure difference and heat-treatments have no influence on the results of the PMI measurements.
