Near miss on 9/11/2008 - Plus hiway
Plus Hiway, north bound somewhere before Tg Malim Exit.
This is where I had my near miss. An old Merc just spun out of control in front of me, travelling at around 100km/hr. I braked hard, and after ensuring that the unlucky merc not going to block my way, pass over him on the left lane. One of the debris hit my rear right door and scratch the paint to bare metal :( But the poor merc probably would find it way to scrap dealer with front and back damage.I bought touch paint yesterday at ACE Sunway. It looks like the old liquid paper (with brush inside the bottle). I have applied on the scratch, but it is too deep. Need to apply a few time to get the same thickness as the rest of the panel. :( Probably need to polish afterward.

Tyre for my wife Lancer GLX
However, a week later, we had a big puncture on the left rear (luckily not the front) on our way to Putrajaya. I need to fork out to replace the rear pair. Trying to source out reasonable price tyre at Bangi and ended up with Dunlop D 01. The price was RM230 X 2.
Bila agaknya tuan punya Lancer ni nak bayar.....
Overhang Balancing
Major components such as turbine disks, impellers, etc., having a balance plane separation of 3% or less of the rotor’s bearing journal span may be static balanced in lieu of dynamic balancing.

Some photo of overhang balancing carried out at TNB REMACO Repair Centre, Klang:

Dr Cermin
I went to Dr Screen in Seri Kembangan, wishing that the crack disappears for good. But, after RM90, the crack is only about 50% healed. :( They gave a year warranty, so probably I need to visit the same doc again soon.

Shoes - 5 pair of them in about a month
I just realized that in the course of about a month, I've bought 5 pair of shoes / slippers. The first pair I got was the Nike futsal shoes (NIKE PREMIER IC INDOOR SHOE) for about RM83 at Mines. A rather entry level shoes for Nike. That's to replace my futsal shoes.
The second pair I got was the Timberland hiking shoes (Men's Franconia Ridge Trail with Gore-Tex) for RM199 at Timberland Warehouse Sales. That's for preparation for hiking activity planned for May 2009.
The third pair was Adidas Running Shoes (AdidasClimaCool® Ozweego CC) which I bought at Adidas Bangi (an authorized Adidas outlet but they sell at slightly lower price than others, but you would have to understand if they don't have your size) for RM154.00. That's hope to bring up my fitness that is currently in a not-so-good shape.
The fourth pair was the Crocs Off Roads which my wife bought at Crocs Ipoh for RM169 (xde discount). I told her that I wish for a shoes that I can walk around in rain/water without worry. My current Scholl slipper is still good, but not good with water.
The fifth pair was the Crocs Hydro which I bought at Crocs Warehouse Sales at Damansara for RM100. Not that I really need another Crocs, but since the shoes that I aim (the Islander) was not available, and since I was already in the warehouse and the price is 50% off, I can't find no other reason not to buy. Furthermore, I hope it can make a good walking shoes.
There goes almost RM700.00.
